Hi my name is Daniel Youl. I am
1718 years old. Motorcycle Road Racing is my passion.
I started racing at the age of 12 on mini 50's, but at 15 I starting competing seriously for championships.In 2007 I competed in the local club competition ( Motorcycle Sportsmens) where
iI finished 1st in the Moriwaki 80cc 2 stroke class, 3rd in the 2007 "Youngstar" competition, 3rd 80cc WPS Championship at Qld Raceway and 3rd in the final round of the WPS Championship on a 125 GP.
In 2008 I moved forward to the senior class of racing. I raced
Honda Australia’s Moriwaki designed 250cc GP race bike - the "GP Mono" (MD250H). I finished 3rd overall in the 2008 Australian Superbike Championship in the 250gp mono class. I also took my first win in the Championship at Winton. I competed in the Queensland round of the Mrrda where I finished 2nd.Here are the provisional races I intend to contest during 2009:Australian Superbike Championship Round 1: Symmonds Plains April 3rd - 5th
Round 2: Queensland Raceway May 29th - 31st
Round 3: Eastern Creek August 7th - 9th
Round 4: Mallala August 28th - 30th
Round 5: Calder Park November 13th - 15th ( Final will take place under lights)
Qld leg of the East Coast Road Race Series July 18th - 19th
Queensland Road Race Championship September 4th - 6th
I have once again secured Lindsay Donai as my motorcycle mechanic, Shell Advance and support from our good friend Scott Cooper at
Quatum Racing Industries.
